lyrics
The third floor
At the Henry Ford
Hospice Rooms
Oxygen chords
I never thought I’d love you more
Than I did when I was young
The words get stuck behind my tongue
I scream and yell
Can’t make a sound
Your hospital gown
A bright green dress
The oxygen
Your necklace
You’ve got your father’s bark
Your mother’s bite
Is she coming to the show tonight?
You’ve got your mother’s smile
From cheek to cheek
Half bent smirk
When you’re feeling weak
A quick remark
When you’re done wrong
Her fascination
For the sad songs you make
I love the way these songs build with contrasting textures to create a tension that dissolves at unexpected moments. Can’t wait to hear the rest! Joanne S. Buchanan
Sometimes one instrument stands out in a band and here I admire the very creative guitar-work, dissonant, edgy and daring. The whole band creates an energy, which seems to jump out off your speakers. If you love the dissonance of Sonic Youth and the aggressive drive of the Dead Kennedys you should give this a try. Dirk Radloff
